About Mohadeseh

Mohadeseh Rastgooy Deylami is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Temple University and Sharif University of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic, Iran).

She has over a decade of experience in materials science, particularly in energy storage and rechargeable batteries. She has extensive experience with characterization analyses in the materials science field, as well as electrochemical analyses for energy storage applications. Currently, she is focused on rare earth element extraction from industrial waste and carbon mineralization in the Clean Energy Conversion Lab.
